Imagine sliding through the water, accompanied not by the roar of bubbles, but
by silence. Imagine getting close and personal with aquatic life - getting closer
than ever before. When you dive with a semi closed Rebreather, you're nearly
bubble free - reducing the noise and disturbance that can scare away shy
creatures.
Through the Semiclosed Rebreather Dräger Dolphin Specialty course you learn
the special procedures for semi closed Rebreather diving. This includes special
dive planning, organization, procedures and potential hazards, many of which
differ significantly from conventional (open circuit) scuba.
- Prerequisites: Must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying

Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
- Number of Dives: Three
- Advantages and disadvantages
- Assembly, disassembly and maintenance
- Dive planning and emergency procedures with semiclosed rebreathers
- Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
- Dive nearly bubble free.
The Rebreather course spans over 3/4 days and includes theory sessions, a pool dive and then 3 ocean
dives with Dolphin semi closed Rebreather. The benefits of this course are numerous. The biggest one has
to be the very few or no bubbles, allows you to get much closer to timid fish life and with lack of bubbles
comes zero noise experience. We use a Nitrox mix in the Rebreather to give extra bottom time. This is an
excellent thrill seekers course and very different from the usual scuba diving. Even the most experienced
diver will enjoy and learn from this course.
