Technical diving isn't for everyone but if this type of diving appeals to you and you're willing to accept the risks, responsibilities and obligations, you'll find it one of the most rewarding dive experiences you'll ever have.
Technical divers require advanced training, extensive experience, and specialized equipment. We now offer a full range of courses from Advanced Nitrox, through to Extended Range and Trimix to Semi Closed Re-Breather. And for divers with appropriate qualifications we offer guided dives as well, up to Advanced Trimix level. Dive sites are available from 30m to more than 100m depth
Technical diving is not necessarily deep diving but it is the fine art of using different gases and equipment to reach a goal. When you learned to dive you have been taught specific ways to do things, we are changing that, to make diving safer for all involved. In most technical diving situations we dive as a team, not a "buddy pair", each team member is self sufficient, does not rely on his opposite, but is there to assist in an emergency, so we look to each other as equals, not dependent but "independent". |
